Career

Ahmed joined ADSERO – Ragy Soliman & Partners as an Associate in the Dispute Resolution department in June 2020 and is currently a Managing Associate. He possesses extensive knowledge in handling complex disputes and representing local and international clients before all types of Egyptian courts, arbitration tribunals, public prosecution, and several government entities and ministries; including but not limited to: courts experts’ committees, Egyptian Tax Authority, Ministry of Finance,  National Telecom Regulatory Authority, and Egyptian Competition Authority.

Ahmed’s primary area of practice is handling complex tax and telecommunications disputes. In addition, he has ample experience in preparing legal memoranda, legal assessments, case strategies, and defence outlines.

He advises clients from a wide range of sectors and industries on the resolution and settlement of complex disputes and mega projects. He has substantial expertise in handling all types of amicable settlements and drafting settlement agreements.

Ahmed provides detailed and comprehensive legal opinions and advises clients in several fields, including but not limited to telecommunications, tax, customs, competition, public tenders and auctions.

2015 – present: Ph.D candidate – Cairo University Law School in cooperation with University of Hamburg. Thesis Title: The Legal Basis of Transfer Pricing for Tax Purposes, a comparative study.

2013 – 2014: LL.M – Cairo University Law School – Public Law Diploma and International Trade and Investments Law Diploma. Ranked First amongst his colleagues in both diplomas.
