Career

Ana Paula has 25 years of experience and has vast knowledge of Brazilian litigation, including Civil and Administrative Courts, as well as in arbitration and transactional matters. She also provides advice on compliance with various aspects of Brazilian legislation, such as anti-corruption, administrative, regulatory, labour, environmental, anti-dumping, and foreign investment control. 

 

Education

She holds an LL.B. (1997), an LL.M. (2002) and an PhD (2005) in Public Law from the Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro – UERJ. She also holds a PhD (2013) from Harvard University. Ana Paula has been working as a Full Professor of Constitutional Law at Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro – UERJ since 2002.
