Career
Sophie van Lint is a counsel and she specializes in employment and public servants law. Sophie is considered the designated lawyer of various government departments, educational institutions and companies throughout the Dutch Caribbean and therefore she deals with and litigates on various legal issues, such as contractual matters and high stakes disputes. She represents central governments in public servants matters and is part of the firm’s employment team, advising employers on various complex and delicate employment issues. In addition, Sophie advises and assists governmental bodies and clients in the public sector in the legislative processes. Hence, Sophie assisted the Island Territory of Bonaire on adjusting, supplementing or converting all local legislation due to previous constitutional changes.
Sophie also assisted the government of Aruba in respect of the drafting of the legislation for all-inclusive accommodation in Aruba.
Sophie graduated in private law (cum laude) from Tilburg University in 2005.
