Giuseppe De Santo (Naples, 27.06.1976) graduated in Law at Federico II University of Naples, qualifying with score of 110/110 cum laude in 2000. Admitted to the Italian Bar in 2004, he has been working in the shipping field for almost 20 years, during which he acquired significant experience in Maritime Law, including marine casualties, salvage, cargo claims, personal injuries, yachting and sailing related matters, including yacht charter.

Giuseppe has also developed significant expertise in International Trade matters, including Sale & Purchase operations, Turnkey contracts, site construction contracts, customs related issues. Giuseppe’s practice area also includes drafting and reviewing international contracts, among which, agency contracts, shipbuilding contracts, yacht sale purchase/refitting contracts, EPC contracts, O&M contracts, Commodities Sale & Purchase Contracts.

Giuseppe is in charge of important litigation cases and contractual matters for the Firm’s clients. In 2011 Giuseppe qualified as a professional mediator.

Giuseppe tries his best to be a good father: he mostly spends his time with his one year old son Adriano. In order to be able to keep his pace, Giuseppe trains every day early in the morning, one at the gym and the other at the swimming pool. Giuseppe is also pretty good in the kitchen. He likes cooking for his family and his friends. He is a philosophy lover and he is about to complete a three years Master in philosophical counseling. Giuseppe is also a motorcycle enthusiast: he has two Guzzi, one of which completely customized by a specialized italian motocycle builder and the other one with which he used to travel around Europe…before the son was born! However, till present he managed not to be compelled to sell any of them! Finally, Giuseppe is a music enthusiast: he used to be a DJ selector and he has a large collection of cd (yes, he still buys them!) going from Beatles and Pink Floyd to Tchaikovsky and Chopin
