Career
Darya joined the Residential Conveyancing team in June 2023 as a Conveyancing Assistant prior to commencing her traineeship with the firm in 2023.
Darya completed the HND Legal Services foundation course in law at City of Glasgow College in 2018 where she obtained AAA grades. She then went on to achieve a First Class Clinical LLB in Scots Law from the University of Strathclyde in 2022. Darya graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2023 with a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice.
Whilst studying for her LLB, Darya gained practical legal experience by completing pro bono work as a student advisor with the University of Strathclyde Law Clinic for five years. During this time, she managed her own caseload and advised her clients on employment, housing and commercial matters.
Before joining Macdonald Henderson, Darya worked as a Legal Secretary and Legal Assistant for four years in another Glasgow based law firm which specialises in Private Client, Residential and Commercial Conveyancing matters.

Outside of law, Darya enjoys exercising and attends hot yoga and pilates classes on a regular basis.
