Career

Adam graduated in law from the University of Cardiff where he also completed his Legal Practice Course. He qualified as a solicitor in 2002 and joined Lightfoots in April 2021, where is a member of both the Family and Litigation teams.

Since qualification, Adam’s key areas of practice have focused on issues relating to family breakdown including divorce, claims under the Trusts of Land Act and under Schedule One of the Children Act. Adam also undertakes various aspects of civil/ chancery work such as claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975.

In all aspects of work, Adam seeks to offer pragmatic and creative advice, and will seek to resolve disputes by alternative dispute resolution if possible, however he will also fight his client’s corner if agreement cannot be reached!

Adam has managed cases in the County Court, High Court and Court of Appeal.
