Career

Amy is a Managing Associate in the Employment team. In her role at Lewis Silkin, Amy supports both employers and employees from all industry sectors on a wide range of day-to-day employment issues. These include contract and policy drafting and review, the negotiation and drafting of settlement agreements and advising on best HR practices. Amy also regularly delivers training to their employer clients.

Amy has extensive experience in Employment Tribunal litigation, including before the Employment Appeals Tribunal, having dealt with complex cases involving: TUPE, whistleblowing, discrimination (including claims relating to disability, sex, race, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, gender reassignment and religion), automatic unfair dismissal, wages and unfair dismissal.

Amy acts for many large multinational employers on a full range of employment litigation and advisory matters. She has particular expertise in cross-border working and global mobility employment issues and leads their employment work on these issues, working closely with international colleagues to co-ordinate advice and help clients to shape a strategic and commercial international mobility strategy.

Amy is a member of the following groups within Lewis Silkin:

  • TUPE specialist group – She advises regularly on the legal and practical implications of the TUPE Regulations.
  • Investigations and Regulatory specialist group – Amy advises clients on all aspects of internal investigations involving staff members
  • Advertising and Marketing specialist group – She advises numerous organisations across the advertising and marketing sector on all aspects of employment law.
  • International specialist group – Amy advises clients on international projects and on employment law matters involving employees across the globe
  • Amy also supports their Tax, Rewards & Incentives team advising on employment tax issues.
