Ms. Özen completed her undergraduate degree at İstanbul Bilgi University with full scholarship and graduated with honor degree. She is registered as an attorney at law before Istanbul Bar Association and as trademark attorney before the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office.

Her practice focuses on prosecution and litigation matters including management of portfolios and administrative proceedings before the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office and WIPO, in addition to cancellation, invalidation, infringement and unfair competition actions before the Civil IP courts of First Instance and Courts of Appeal.

She also takes active role in handling settlement negotiations in infringement, invalidation and cancellation actions related to trademark, design, domain names, copyright violations and unfair competition, as well as preparation and negotiation of contracts in the aforementioned areas.
