She is registered as an attorney at law before the Istanbul Bar Association.

Ms. Şahin has been working with foreign and domestic clients in various industries including fashion, automotive, cosmetics, alcoholic beverages, food and media on every aspect of trademark, design, domain names, copyright and unfair competition issues from administrative to judicial phases.

Her practice focuses on management of IP related invalidation, cancellation, infringement and unfair competition actions before the Civil IP Courts of First Instance and Court of Appeals.

In addition to her experience in litigation proceedings, Burcu also actively takes part in complex settlement negotiations between the parties at the (pre) litigation phase.
