Career

Dr Nemanja Aleksić is the Managing Partner of the Aleksić & Associates and has more than 18 years of experience working in legal profession. Nemanja began his career as a civil and criminal lawyer representing clients before the court in some of the most complex criminal cases of the time. After founding Aleksić & Associates, he grew his practice to include over 210 professionals focusing on general corporate law, banking and finance, real estate law and dispute resolution.

Under his guidance, the law firm has developed particular expertise in financial regulation, NPL portfolio services and restructuring and distressed transactions, including debt recovery and workout, due diligence of portfolios for sellers and buyers. Today, his clients include local and international financial institutions, multinational corporations, public and private stakeholders.
Nemanja supports both local and international clients in establishing their business in Serbia and particularly focuses on corporate governance, reorganisation, compliance and contractual law. He is widely recognised as a leading figure in the Serbian legal sector.
