Partner at ENVIR Advocaten. Erwin is specialized in general and European administrative law, with a focus on environmental, planning and nature conservation law and subsidies. Erwin advises and litigates on behalf of both government bodies and developers on (sustainable) energy, nature and climate change issues relating to onshore and offshore wind farms, solar farms, the circular economy, the energy transition, scarce rights or subsidies for sustainable energy production.

Erwin is experienced in legal project management, where, as a strategic and legal advisor, he assists his clients on complex industrial, urban and/or infrastructural spatial projects from start to finish, for example in obtaining the necessary public-law permissions. He advises and litigates on planning issues, planning and nature conservation permits and related environmental research, such as EIA.
