Career

As a key member of the dispute resolution team, Irena deals with a wide range of civil and commercial matters of contentious nature, with particular focus on international corporate and commercial litigation. She is regularly involved in shareholder disputes, asset recovery proceedings and fraud cases. Irena’s practice includes securing and challenging interim orders before the Cyprus Courts and achieving or opposing the enforcement of foreign court orders and arbitral awards in Cyprus.

Irena pursued her legal studies at the University of Southampton in England, where she graduated with a First Class LLB degree.  She is a Barrister-at-Law of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple and a London accredited ADRg mediator in civil and commercial matters.

Irena was called to the Cyprus Bar, having achieved outstanding results in the preceding examinations for admission.
