Career

Prior to founding KCG Partners and leading its French Desk, Rita worked at the global law firm Gide Loyrette Nouel since 2008 focusing on employment, litigation and corporate matters.

Rita is a highly skilled business lawyer with deep experience in employment, data protection, dispute resolution and litigation matters. She advises clients across many aspects of employment law, including C-suite hires, terminations, staff re-structuring and internal organizational regulations, and has been closely involved in a number of multi-sector corporate restructurings.

With a recent influx of new clients, the employment team at KCG Partners Law Firm saw an increase in mandates related to international mobility issues and the relocation of employees. The practice handles a variety of contentious matters, and is also involved in collective redundancies and large-scale reorganisations. Levente Csengery and Rita Párkányi jointly lead the group; with over 20 years’ experience in employment law, the former is experienced in the establishment and operation of ESOP programs, while the latter brings extensive knowledge of employee data processing to the team. Borbála Maglai, who joined the team from Lohn Law Firm in April 2023, brings employment and immigration litigation experience to the firm. Eszter Ila-Horváth focuses on TUPE laws, terminations and data protection issues.

The practice also noted a recent increase in immigration and international mobility cases. Bálint Éberhardtthrows himself into investigating and pursuing all the cases‘. Eszter Ila-Horváth specialises in employment-related disputes, and the addition of Borbála Maglai from Lohn Law Firm in April 2023 further strengthened the team’s employment litigation practice.
