Magdalena developed her interest in insolvency through various work placements with different restructuring and insolvency firms, including Grant Thornton. She joined Isadore Goldman in October 2019 as a legal assistant and qualified as a solicitor in April 2022 following completion of her training contract with the firm.

During her time with Isadore Goldman, Magdalena has been assisting on various insolvency and commercial matters, which allowed her to gain a broad base of experience, both in corporate and personal insolvency. Her day-to-day work often involves investigating and pursuing actions on behalf of insolvency practitioners. Magdalena also acts for distressed company directors, bankrupt individuals, and creditors of an insolvent estate. She tackles both small value cases and works with other members of the team on more complex, high value disputes. In addition to working on a complex insolvency disputes and litigation, she also deals with non-contentious matters, often helping insolvency practitioners and directors to structure a sale of a business / business assets, advising insolvency practitioners on the validity of their appointment, and advising directors on the re-use of a company name following company’s liquidation.

Magdalena is bilingual in English and Polish and is well suited to assist Polish speaking business owners, directors and creditors.
