Position
Xavier is a founding partner of Meridian. With more than 15 years’ experience in pre-litigation and litigation of business law cases, he has acquired a specific expertise in commercial and post-acquisition disputes as well as insolvency and enforcement proceedings.
He is regularly instructed by a number of business players such as owners of construction works, real estate developers and contractors in matters relating to private and public works contracts requiring a specific construction and real estate know-how, including in the energy sector. He represents a variety of different contractors in construction projects in relation (among other disputes) to court surveys and liability claims. He also provides legal assistance to the negotiation and drafting of contracts relating to property acquisitions and real estate transaction services.

Meridian’s construction practice is co-led by Xavier Desnos and Olivier Delsupexhe, the latter of whom is noted for his ability to provide ‘out of the box approaches to problems’, alongside associate Gwilherm Le Bras.
