Career

Christiana is a qualified lawyer under the Cyprus Bar Association and she is Heading the Licensing Department of the Firm. The focus of the Licensing Department is to provide regulatory compliance, legal consultation and assistance in licensing and authorization of, entities including, inter alia, Cyprus Investment Firms, EU collective investment schemes, such as Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) and UCITS, Alternative Investment Fund Managers (AIFMs), Electronic Money Institutions (EMIs)/Payment Institutions (PIs) and Administrative Service Providers (ASPs).

During her professional career, Christiana practiced in the field of financial advisory services where she mostly dealt with the registration and representation of companies regulated from various local and international supervisory authorities, as well as engaging in the monitoring and oversight of regulatory development relevant to their activities.

Christiana graduated from the University of Leeds with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and subsequently obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Maritime Law from the City University London.

Christiana is a holder of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission’s Advanced Examination certificate.
