Career

After graduating from the University of Exeter with a 2:1 in her Bachelor of Laws degree, Katie then undertook the LPC LLM in Professional Legal Practice, which she passed with distinction.

Following the completion of my studies, Katie moved to London and secured a Paralegal position in the Personal Injury department at a large London firm. Her role involved assisting a Senior Associate with the running of high-value catastrophic injury claims.

During the summer of 2021, she returned to live in Devon.

Katie joined Wollens in September 2021 as a Trainee Solicitor. During her Training Contract, she undertook seats in the Residential Property team, Family team and Private Client team.

In September 2023, Katie completed herTraining Contract and qualified as a Solicitor. Upon qualification, she joined the Private Client team. Katie currently deals predominantly with the administration of both taxable and non-taxable estates.

Leisure

Outside of work, Katie enjoys running, boating and socialising. She also enjoys choral singing, and regularly sings in Exeter Cathedral.
