LUTZ | ABEL RECHTSANWALTS PARTG MBB supports construction companies, public institutions as well as project and property developers in various construction law matters. Contractors regularly instruct the team on infrastructure projects, such as motorway and tunnel construction projects, while public sector clients request the expertise in interfacing public procurement law matters thanks to cross-practice cooperation with the relevant experts. The project support capacities in the public sector were strengthened with the partner appointment of Ulrich Eix in January 2023; he also acts on behalf of investors and (planning offices/Planungsbüro). Client support in the construction of hospitals is a core focus of the teams in Munich and Stuttgart. This is complemented by experience in dispute resolution, where the team frequently represents medium-sized construction companies as contractors. The team is led by Wolfgang Abel, who specialises in supporting large-scale infrastructure projects. The interface between construction, real estate and public law was strengthened with the addition of Christian Kruska (previously at BREYER RECHTSANWÄLTE) in June 2022.
