Partner undertaking a broad mix of often very complex and high-value commercial and corporate dispute work including contract and tort disputes, shareholder disputes, partnership and LLP disputes, warranty and completion account disputes, injunctions, ADR/ mediation, supplier disputes, property-related disputes, fraud, professional negligence claims against a broad range of professionals, and contentious trust and probate disputes. The Legal 500 UK 2012: recommended for commercial litigation, ‘incredibly bright and unflappable’. Has also been recommended as ‘more than just an excellent lawyer’. Gets ‘great results’ is ‘personable’ and has ‘high integrity’.

Hill Dickinson LLP regularly handles shareholder and partnership disputes, professional negligence claims, breach of contract claims, environmental claims, commercial fraud, defamation, IP, procurement and competition cases. The team is also noted for its arbitration expertise and is often instructed on cases with an international element. Team head Fiona Parry is representing HS Barrier Coatings in a £2.1m breach of contract claim concerning work taking place in a Ministry of Defence shipyard in Scotland, and represented Aquarius Holdings in relation to claims against the former captain of a super yacht, and other associated companies and individuals, for breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty. Medway Council, Stobart Group, Bourne Leisure, United Utilities Water and Electricity North West are also clients. Other key figures include Phil Sheard and Paul Walsh, who is experienced in IT litigation, and legal director +Nina Ferris.
