After graduation Inese worked as an editor at the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In the field of intellectual property she works since 1991. She is a qualified Latvian Trademark Attorney since 1993 and European Trademark and Design Attorney since 2004. She joined Agency TRIA ROBIT in 1996 and specializes in the trademark litigation before the Court and opposition cases before the Patent Office of Latvia.
