Simon has 25 years’ experience of advising clients on a full range of construction and engineering law issues. His expertise covers construction and engineering disputes and has extensive experience of all dispute resolution techniques including ADR, adjudication, court proceedings (including a number of reported cases), and arbitrations. Simon also has extensive non-contentious experience covering the drafting of all forms of contract and development documentation on a range of construction and engineering projects for corporate and financial institutions as well as in the local authority, education, transport healthcare and charity sectors. He has particular expertise in energy projects, having drafted the contracts for the construction of the largest biofuels plant in the UK, and on a number of waste to energy schemes, together with wind and solar projects.
