Career

Michal Hackmey’s main fields of practice are pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, chemistry, and the food industry, as well as the patent term extension and trademark areas. Michal is recognized as a leading counsel in various patent and trademark opposition and litigation cases, and she has guided some of Israel’s leading biotech and chemical industries for many years. Michal served as chairperson of the Israeli Patent Attorneys Association from 1994 to 2013.

Mrs. Hackmey joined as a partner in December 2008. From 1999 until joining Reinhold Cohn Group, she was a partner at Luzzatto & Luzzatto and headed their Jerusalem office. From 1984 until 1999, she headed the Jerusalem firm of A.E. Mulford, which she joined in 1979.
