Career
Pierre-Gilles Wogue is an experienced counsellor and litigator with an extensive restructuring and special situation practice spanning two decades. He has developed considerable experience advising distressed companies with a pronounced international dimension (from mid to large size companies, conglomerates and financial institutions) from protective measures (mandat ad hoc, conciliation) to insolvency proceedings (safeguard, administration, and judicial liquidation). He is a known name in restructuring and is frequently requested to participate in Expert working groups at the French, European and International levels regarding reforms and regulations.
He is a member of the IBA, France Invest (a French organization for private equity) and various other technical organizations including restructuring and turnaround.
Partner at Rambaud Martel (now Orrick), he joined Salans (now Dentons) in 2006, and was among the founding partners of ADVANT Altana since 2009. He holds a Sciences-Po Paris diploma, a Master’s degree in Business Law (Assas) and a post-graduate diploma in Private Law (Sorbonne).

L’équipe est aussi intervenue récemment pour le compte de centres commerciaux, de promoteurs et de bailleurs de premier plan dans la défense de leurs intérêts face à leurs locataires, des enseignes confrontées à des situations de restructuration de dettes. Le cabinet a aussi assisté un voyageur dans la gestion de ses difficultés et traite des dossiers en cours dans de nombreux domaines : presse, médias, hôtellerie, automobile et éducation. La pratique est codirigée par Michel Jockey et Pierre-Gilles Wogue et fait aussi intervenir Julien Balensi et Mana Rassouli .

ADVANT Altana‘s well-established practice regularly acts for debtors, but is also often retained by leading companies for the management of commercial debts held in various smaller companies and commercial partners. The team has notably advised several leading shopping centers, developers and lessors on protecting rent amounts due by retailers facing debt restructuring situations. In recent work, the practice assisted a major travelling company facing acute difficulties. The varied caseload features matters from other fields, including press, media, hospitality, automobile and education. Michel Jockey and Pierre-Gilles Wogue co-head the practice, with Julien Balensi and Mana Rassouli being two other key contributors.
