Position

Herman is a senior associate in the contract and commercial law practice and in the corporate and commercial litigation practice advising and assisting clients on commercial law matters, with a particular emphasis on commercial contracts. He is also an experienced litigator.

Career

Herman started his career in 2007 at Clifford Chance in Amsterdam. From 2013 until 2015 he worked for one of the major law firms in Curacao. Herman worked as in-house litigation counsel for FrieslandCampina from 2015 until 2018, after which he joined HEUSSEN.

Member of The Amsterdam Bar and the IBA (International Bar Association). Herman is also a member of the Corporate Litigation Association, the Association for Distribution, Franchise and Agency Law and the Dutch Arbitration Association.

Education

Herman graduated in Dutch Law at the University of Tilburg and subsequently studied at the University of Minnesota Law School (LL.M.).
