Career

Valerio Mosca provides assistance to national and international clients in all areas of the TMT sector. His activity focuses on proceedings before the administrative authorities (including Italian Communications Authority), judicial proceedings before civil and administrative courts, as well as advice on compliance and negotiation of agreements.

With respect to TLC network and services, Valerio advises clients in a broad range of regulatory matters (including inter-operators disputes, authorisations and enforcement of ex-ante regulatory measures), including those involving technical and complex issues, such as frequencies, platforms, innovative services and networks.

The companies operating in all segments of the media sector (broadcasters, service providers, network operators, independent producers and vertically integrated groups) are assisted in the legal aspects of their business, from strategic and extraordinary transactions, to day-by-day issues, including acquisition, production and distribution of contents, advertising and marketing initiatives, applicable regulation and authorisations.

Valerio has also developed significant expertise in the IT and new technologies sector, providing assistance within all relevant legal aspects of software, innovative services and platforms (agreements, licensing, distribution, regulation, e-commerce, fintech, etc.).

Finally Valerio has extensive experience in antitrust law (advising companies in administrative and judicial proceedings for agreements, abuse of dominant position and mergers) and in consumer protection (also within proceedings for unfair commercial practices).

After having practiced at the State Attorney’s Office, Valerio was a trainee at the Italian Antitrust Authority and at D.G. Competition of the EU Commission.

In 2006 Valerio graduated in Law Degree, magna cum laude, Università degli Studi Roma Tre, in Rome, Italy
