Position

Yesim Bezen is a founding partner of Bezen & Partners. She assists international clients in a wide variety of transactions, most notably in banking, finance, asset and project finance transactions.

Career

Yesim Bezen is a qualified solicitor (England & Wales). She has completed her training with and has been employed by a Magic Circle law firm’s London office from 2001 to 2007 where she advised clients (mainly financiers) on banking, structured finance and project finance transactions. She advises domestic and non-domestic clients on cross-border transactions. She is the co-author of several publications on finance, privatisation and energy. Bezen & Partners' 'highly reputable and capable' team advises on acquisition and leveraged finance, asset finance, banking, debt restructuring, project finance and structured finance. Other areas of expertise include issuance of debt instruments and bonds, derivatives transactions, swap and International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) transactions. It advised an international financial institution on a $95m senior unsecured loan to a Turkish chemicals manufacturer, and Pronet GĂŒvenlik Hizmetleri as the borrower on a $203m refinancing package. Other key clients include China Aircraft Leasing Group, Akbank, JP Morgan and QNB Finansbank. YeƟim Bezen, Murat Soylu and Banu Aslan head the team. Can Özilhan was promoted to senior associate.
