Position

Banu Bölükemini advises domestic and international clients on a wide-range of Turkish law matters, with a particular focus on banking, finance, energy and infrastructure deals.

Career

Banu Bölükemini graduated from the Osnabrück Universität (LLB Law), passed her first “Staatsexamen” and moved to Turkey thereafter where she received her equivalence qualification at the Istanbul University. Ms. Bölükemini advises domestic and international clients on a wide-range of Turkish law matters, with a particular focus on projects, and in particular German clients in their native language. Banu Bölükemini has an LLM in Banking and Finance from the University of London. She has been with the firm since 2008 and was recently promoted to partnership. Ms. Bölükemini has accomplished a secondment at the EBRD’s Istanbul office (September 2013 – February 2014) where she was involved in various project finance and corporate loan transactions. Banu Bölükemini is the co-author of several publications on financing and infrastructure.
