Position
As an associate with the firm’s Dispute Resolution & Risk Management team, I specialise in civil and administrative disputes and, together with the team, I represent clients’ interests during judicial and arbitration proceedings. I also advise clients on intellectual property issues and help them ensure proper acquisition, use and protection of intellectual property.
Career
Resolution of disputes. I prepare procedural documents while representing clients before courts, international and national arbitration bodies; I perform analyses and deliver legal conclusions. I also contribute to representing clients before the European Court of Human Rights.
Intellectual property. I advise clients on trademark, patent, design and copyright protection issues. Together with the team, I represent clients before the National State Patent Bureau and during disputes in court concerning the protection of intellectual property rights.
Continuous improvement and international experience. Professional development and deepening my knowledge in both new and existing areas of expertise is an integral part of the legal profession. For this reason, I regularly participate in international conferences and training sessions. I have participated in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot and the ELSA Start competitions. I deepened my knowledge of European Union regulation, international private law, and commercial arbitration at Ghent University (Belgium) during an exchange programme.
Academic activity. My master’s thesis on procedural problems arising from the enforcement of intellectual property rights was awarded the highest score. I have prepared two scientific articles on intellectual property and civil procedure law, which were published in Teisės mokslo pavasaris, a collection of articles from the Student Scientific Society of the Faculty of Law at Vilnius University.
