Legal counsel to Spain largest media corporations and the European Commission on issues related to Technology, Media and Telecoms. (TMT). Legal counsel to the Spanish Government on drafting of the Film and General Audiovisual Acts (LGCA).

The firm specialises in telecoms, media and information technology, providing ‘high-quality service with international expertise’ and an ability to 'make complex regulatory requirements and topics easily digestible’. The team is led by founding partner Hugo Écija; arbitrator and intellectual property expert Alejandro Touriño; and Carlos Perez, who focuses on compliance and information technology. Also notable is the ‘knowledgeable and methodical’ Alonso Hurtado, who has expertise in ‘the area of legislation as well as a high level of empathy’. The bench was further strengthened by the arrival of Salvador Silvestre, who joined from Deuxtic Abogados in 2018 and is experienced in privacy and data protection; and counsel Maria Ruiz de Velasco, who leads the regulatory and fintech department and joined in 2018 from the Portuguese Stock Market Commission, where she was deputy director.
