Sebastián is partner at ECIJA GPA, specialising in Public Law with more than 16 years of experience in Constitutional Law. He has extensive experience in advising individuals and legal entities in the area of Public Law, with main practice and specialization in Constitutional Law. Distinguished academic and lecturer in undergraduate and postgraduate universities in Ecuador.

Doctor in Jurisprudence and Law from the Universidad del Azuay, Master in Constitutional Law from the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar, Doctor (Phd) in Law from the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar-Quito, Santiago is currently studying a postdoctoral programme at the same Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar-Quito.
