Spain > Dispute resolution

The ‘multidisciplinary team with proven experience’ at Ramón y Cajal Abogados is appreciated for its ‘constant communication and availability‘. The firm stands out in particular for its track record in financial litigation, where it acts for leading domestic banks before the Spanish courts and the European Court of Justice. Companies in the construction, engineering, energy and retail sectors also seek the team’s representation in breach of contract, unfair competition and shareholder disputes, among other matters. Ramón Fernández-Aceytuno and Luis Briones jointly lead the sizeable team; Fernández-Aceytuno counts insolvency, pre-insolvency and business restructuring processes among his areas of expertise, and Briones complements his broad litigation and arbitration practice with niche expertise in franchising. ‘Excellent lawyersCarmen Fernández-Hontoria and Luis Carnicero are highlighted for their ‘very high technical quality‘. Ana Fernández, Fernando Manzanedo and senior associate Santiago González-Enciso are also noted.
