Spain > Dispute resolution

The ‘completely client-oriented‘ litigation team at Ramón y Cajal Abogados excels in all types of national and international disputes. The group handles contentious matters related to the construction, infrastructure, energy, finance, and real estate sectors, acting for a diverse client roster that includes some of the largest Spanish corporates and financial institutions. Post-M&A disputes are a particular strength of the team, as is representation in arbitration proceedings before the main international arbitration courts. Madrid-based Ramón Fernández-Aceytuno and Luis Briones in Barcelona co-lead the team; Fernández-Aceytuno focuses on business restructuring processes and is highly sought out by large companies and financial institutions in pre-insolvency and insolvency proceedings, while Briones has a track record of representing defendants in judicial and arbitration cases involving civil and commercial law. The ‘outstandingFernando Tallón and Fernando Manzanedo are also part of the core team.
