Career

Maya Hoftman is a partner at Gornitzky & Co. 

Maya served as a legal intern at Gornitzky & Co. and was an associate with the firm since 2008.

Maya spends most of her time in the real estate practice. Her practice mainly involves the representation of clients in sale and purchase of land transactions, construction of commercial and residential projects and ongoing matters pertaining to commercial real estate.

Among others, Maya is involved in the representation of Israel’s largest chain of hotels and Israel’s largest shopping malls group in ongoing corporate and commercial mattes.

Apart from her real estate practices, Maya is also involved in representing clients in capital markets matters, including drafting of prospectuses, IPO’s and periodic reports.

During her legal studies Maya served as a member of the editorial board of the “Studies in Law Gender and Feminism” book (2007) and as an editor of the Ono Academic College law review journal “Kiryat Hamishpat”. Additionally, Maya assisted Prof. Gabriela Shalev in the research for her book, Contract Law – Remedies for Breach, Towards Codification of the Civil Law, which was published in 2009.
