KSB tax partner Helena Navratilova is one of the leading tax advisors in the Czech Republic and has been repeatedly recognized by Chambers & Partners, Legal500 and The International Who’s Who of Corporate Tax Lawyers. Throughout her career, Helena has been an advisor to many international corporations as well as Czech companies. She has advised on the tax aspects of corporate structuring, operations and supply contracts, private equity investment, mergers and acquisitions etc. Her expertise also extends to real estate development and private trusts. Recently, Helena has been assisting a Dutch holding company with transferring its tax residence to the Czech Republic and a cross-border merger of another Dutch holding company and its Czech sister company; assessed the tax impact of technical services and license agreements among manufacturing subsidiaries located in Europe and its Illinois parent company; provided a tax review of a joint venture in the cement sector; as well as dealt with complex accounting and tax matters relating to derivatives embedded in bonds issued and acquired in a private equity group of companies. Helena is also involved in a comprehensive corporate income tax review at a Czech holding company which is being performed by the Specialized Financial Office.

With expertise in advising on cross-border tax elements of business restructurings and international holding structures, the firm also assists clients with private equity and pension fund investments.
