Career

Ian Hayes is joint head of ENSafrica's corporate commercial department, which is one of the largest of its kind in South Africa. Ian specialises in M&A, takeovers, formation and initial structuring of new business entities, private equity transactions and corporate finance. Ian advises both international and local entities and his experience includes corporate restructuring, corporate governance, company law, mining, private equity, health care, IPOs, equity capital market and stock exchange transactions.

Admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa; BA (University of the Witwatersrand); LLB (University of the Witwatersrand); and Leadership in Professional Service Firms (Harvard Business School, USA).
