Partner Adam Dyl is a catastrophic injury specialist and is known for taking on complex cases which are difficult to win.  He takes the time to properly investigate each case, often succeeding with early applications for inspection rights so that investigations can take place while the evidence is preserved. Doing this early work ensures Adam a stronger position in negotiations with the other side and before the court.

By being proactive in this regard Adam, who works closely with Jenny Kennedy, achieves the best possible outcome for his clients. If liability is disputed, where appropriate, Adam seeks a split trial for the matter to be determined as a preliminary issue, securing an earlier decision and at proportionate cost. Recently Adam obtained High Court approval on liability for a severely injured client who suffered serious head injuries. With judgment now in his favour, interim funding has been secured for the client’s use and benefit.

Adam is regularly instructed on complex, high value matters which involve multi faceted issues due to the life changing injuries his clients have often suffered.

Having developed his reputation as a successful lawyer, Adam puts the rehabilitation of his clients first and is well known to a network of case managers and healthcare professionals who assist in their recovery. In a recent major trauma case Adam obtained funding for the client to undergo replacement of his shoulder and elbow following a serious crush injury. Adam is approachable, kind and dedicated to supporting his clients and their families through every aspect of the case.

Adam joined Anthony Gold in 2009 to commence his training contract, and was promoted to partner in 2020.
