Position

Partner Thomas Markert works within the field of corporate law, insolvency law, succession/mergers and acquisitions and litigation.

As an experienced insolvency lawyer, Thomas works with restructuring of distressed businesses and serves as a trustee of estates in bankruptcy and as a liquidator.

Thomas’s primary areas of work within general corporate law are contracts, succession and mergers and acquisitions. He has considerable knowledge of the healthcare sector, doctors and dentists and the problems associated with transfers of their practices and investments in them.

Thomas is admitted to appear before the Supreme Court.

Additionally, his focus areas include major lawsuits, including directors’ liability cases, professional liability cases and associated disciplinary cases for and against professional advisors such as lawyers and accountants.
