José María joined Pérez-Llorca in 2023 as a partner in the Infrastructure and Telecommunications practice.

Career

José María Miralles has spent most of his professional career in a leading telecommunications company as Global General Counsel. In addition, he has been a member of its Executive Committee, responsible for legal, regulatory and competition matters, compliance, data protection and intellectual property.

During his more than 20 years of experience in the Telecommunications sector, José María has accompanied the creation and development of the project of an independent provider of neutral wireless telecommunications and broadcasting infrastructures of international impact, contributing to the creation of a European leader in the telecommunications infrastructures market operating both in Spain and in other European jurisdictions (Italy, France, Portugal, UK, Holland, Switzerland, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, among others).

José María was also part of the team of an integrated telecommunications operator.
