Career

René Scheurell joined CBH in 2011 as a lawyer in the areas of public building and planning law as well as fire protection and safety law. In addition, he is the head fire chief and has been a member of the fire brigade for over 25 years. Here he exercises leadership functions as a member of the fire brigade command and control and the technical command of a crisis team.

The focus of his work as a lawyer is on advising companies, project sponsors and investors on the re-planning and approval of residential and commercial construction projects and on the revitalisation of existing properties. Here he contributes his special fire protection expertise.

In addition, he accompanies approval procedures for infrastructure projects such as plant and service construction projects in the energy industry with regard to technical planning law. Here he also deals with questions of plant safety.
