Kari Bergeius Andersen

Kari Bergeius Andersen is a partner at Ræder Bing and part of the employment law practice group. Kari Bergeius Andersen is an established key player among labor lawyers in Norway. Her practice covers all aspects of labor law. She primarily represents national and international companies, state and municipal entities, trade unions, as well as individual employees. She has experience with restructuring, cross-border employment relationships, downsizing processes, and long-term sick leave. Additionally, she is frequently engaged as a lecturer on various topics within labor law.

Alexander Wiesner Barg

Alexander Wiesner Barg is a Managing Associate and member of Ræder Bing’s insurance and transport team. Alexander has broad experience within liability/tort and insurance law. Alexander assists in coverage issues, recourse and liability/tort cases related to product liability, professional liability and transportation law, in addition to advising in general contract and commercial law. Alexander also has experience from the insurance industry, from Fremtind Forsikring AS.

Øyvind Bjørnstad

Øyvind is Partner at Ræder Bing and member of the Insolvency and Restructuring group. He works primarily with issues relating to bankruptcy law. Through his work Øyvind has built up an insight and ability to simplify complicated law-related issues both for private clients and corporations with economical difficulties. Øyvind has experience from working with the tax collection departement of The Norwegian Tax Administration, where he worked with tax collection, provicional security and bankruptcy. He also participated in an comprehensive national project called «Riksprosjekt Finans», which aims to pursue labour crimes. Øyvind was part of a small group responsible for educating co-workers within The Norwegian Tax Administration, as well as all the enforcement officers of the tax collection offices within Region East. During his time with The Enforcement Office in Oslo, Øyvind held external seminars and was responsible for educating co-workers within legal issues regarding attachment proceedings and provicional security.

Carl Garmann Clausen

Carl Garmann Clausen is a partner in Ræder’s Corporate / M&A team He is admitted to the Bar both in Norway and in the State of New York, USA. A considerable part of Carl’s work is internationally focused (cross-border M&A transactions) but his expertise also includes domestic corporate and securities law. Carl regularly handles complex contracts in accordance with English/American standards, assignments relating to M&A, stock exchange and securities, as well as banking and finance issues. On the strength of Carl’s admission to the New York Bar, Ræder has been appointed sponsor on the OTC QX, the premium market on OTC Markets in New York City. He represents various technology companies, also in respect of their vendor and customer contracts. He has extensive experience with sale and purchase of technology businesses, both asset sales and stock sales. He advises both small and medium-sized companies and publicly listed companies and has extensive experience with sale and purchase of businesses, equity transactions and stock-exchange introductions. Having worked with various technology companies has given Carl in-depth knowledge on the protection of intellectual property rights. Carl has an international profile. He has practiced as an attorney in New York City, specializing in US legal relations, with emphasis on Corporate, Trusts & Estates and Environmental Law. He regulary assists European clients in establishing and investing in the USA.

Anne Gro Enger is a partner and has extensive experience in work related to Norwegian and international corporate tax law. Anne Gro works accross sectors. She has extensive experience from the oil and gas sector having worked as in-house attorney at Aker Solutions and Akastor. She is regularly appointed by the Court as administrator of estates. She has previously worked as a deputy judge at the Oslo City Court and in the Legal Depertment og the Ministry of Finance and tax administration, mainly on corporate tax law issues.

Andreas Frislid

Andreas Frislid is an experienced attorney and specialist within commercial real estate, having particular focus on transactions, lease agreements and project development. Andreas also works with planning and building regulations as well as corporate law. Andreas works closely with central stakeholders in the commercial real estate industry, He is an experienced negotiator and advisor on the commercial aspects of commercial real estate.

Trygve Gravdahl

Trygve M. Gravdahl is a Partner and member of Ræder's IP team. He has extensive experience in work related to trademark law, marketing law and copyright law. Trygve also advises in commercial law in addition to providing general business counselling. He holds a number of board positions.

Eva Hagen is an experienced attorney and specialist within commercial real estate . She advises clients on commercial property development matters both assessing real estate potential and developing property development strategies. Eva has broad experience not only as a property owner, but also from a property manager as well as developer of urban development projects side. She has extensive experience in managing property development projects in transformation areas from port areas to urban development areas, including the design and settlement of contracts, facilitation for urban development through architectural competitions and parallel assignments, regulatory processes and sales. Furthermore, she has experience from partner processes for development, as well as experience as a developer for development projects. Eva has extensive experience in negotiating, as well as operating in the interface between public and private players in real estate and urban development. She has extensive board experience and is often used as a speaker.

Joar Heide is an experienced litigator and has litigated hundreds of lawsuits in the District Court, High Court and Supreme Court. He mainly litigates and advises on matters within the field of contract law, employment law, real estate, corporate law and law on torts. He regularly handles cases related to financial or accounting issues and professional liability. Before joining Ræder, Joar practiced as a Deputy Judge.

Tone Kaarbø is a recognized tax lawyer and partner in Ræders Tax group, she is also Managing Partner. Through many years of work in the field of tax law and tax management from both the public and the private sector, Tone has gained broad experience with tax law issues. She mainly works with advisory services related to tax, preparation of binding preliminary statements, complaint cases and legal processes in the tax area. Tone has good competence in the field of business taxation, share taxation, international tax law, personal taxation and company law. In recent years, she has worked extensively on tax-related issues related to property development and real estate transactions. She is a member of a Government appointed Expert committee that has assessed water power taxation. Tone often works on professional liability matters adressing errors and omissions in tax advice provided by lawyers and accountants.

Kyrre W. Kielland provides services within contract law, financing law, market law, corporate law and insurance/tort law. He has broad experience ranging from transactions and finance regulatory questions on one side to litigation in insurance related matters on the other. Within transactions, Kielland assists with company law and contractual consulting in connection with acquisition and financing, including private placements, bank financing, leasing and bond loans. Kielland regularly advises companies within the shipping, aviation, grocery and technology sectors. He also assists payment service providers and Fintech companies with regulatory and compliance issues. Kiellands Insurance and indemnity work relates primarily to Norwegian and international producers and their insurers with counseling and litigation. He is renowned for his expertise within product liability and is co-author of Gyldendal Akademisk’s commentary to the Norwegian Product Liability Act. Kyrre is recognized as a product liability expert in the international ranking Legal 500 and is also ranked in Finansavisen’s annual Advokatundersøkelsen (ranking of Norwegian attorneys).

Mari Kimsås-Otterbech

Mari Kimsås-Otterbech is a Partner in Ræder Bing. Mari has extensive and broad experience as both a legal advisor, judicial clerk, and attorney. As an attorney, she has assisted Norwegian and international companies, municipalities, state entities, employer associations, and individual employees in all aspects of labor law (individual and collective), including dispute resolution, conflict management, reorganizations, downsizing, employment and termination, as well as pension issues. She has particular employment expertise in the offshore and shipping industries and served for a period as a board member in the Pension Fund for Seamen. In addition to her law degree, Mari has completed an Executive Master of Management with a primary focus on HRM (Human Resource Management), applied organizational psychology and business strategy.

Alf Kåre Knudsen

Alf Kåre Knudsen is a partner in Ræder Bing. Alf Kåre Knudsen is an expert in labour law, and advices unions, employers and employees. Alf Kåre has extensive experience with cases regarding employment protection. He also works with real estate and advices some of the largest real estate developers and owners in Norway.

Erling Opdal is a recognized attorney and has extensive experience in work related to Restructuring and Insolvency and Corporate law. He is admitted to appear before the Supreme Court. Erling is considered one of Norways most experienced administrators/trustee of bankruptcy estates and has handled a number of highly profiled cases over the years. Erling is regularly appointed as an administrator in bankruptcy estates by the Oslo County Court. He is often used in conjunction with business restructuring. Erling, who also has a degree in economics, advises both large and small companies on a wide range of strategic issues as well as commercial legal issues. He regularly negotiates, asseses and advises on corporate structures and assists with contractual matters. Erling often handles debt settlement negotiations on behalf of clients. Erling holds a number of board postitions. Anders is an experienced transaction specialist assisting clients in connection with purchase and sale of commercial properties. Anders advises a large number of Norwegian and international clients in real estate transactions, in connection with lease agreements and operation/management of real estate. He has hands-on experience also from a property investor and owners perspective, and acts as CEO of property holding entities in Oslo, Norway. He has also served and serves as board member of real estate investment companies in Norway and abroad. He regularly acts as Closing Agent on a number of transactions each year.

Anne Christine Wettre

Anne Christine Wettre is a Partner and leads Ræder's Restructuring and Insolvency group. She is a recognized attorney and specialises in insolvency, bankruptcy and restructuring. Her specialist fields are monetary claims, law of mortgages and pledges, enforcement, property law and value added tax. Anne Christine works with bankruptcy proceedings. She advises clients on legal and commercial issues and assits clients with bank and finance law, in particular law of mortgages and pledges, official regulation rules for bank and finance. Anne Christine also works with Compliance and Corporate Governance. She has a sound understanding of, and assess financial statements and company documentation with attention to detail. Thus she spend a lot of time assisting clients with audits from the tax authorities. Before joining Ræder she worked as an attorney at Euler Hermes Kredittforsikring and was responsible for compliance and contract law issues. She has in depth knowledge of all aspects in relation to the management of debt recovery activities. Anne Christine is recognized as a specialist attorney within her field in the Legal 500.

Kristian Østberg

Kristian is a partner and specialises in maritime, transportation and insurance law. He is head of Ræder's Insurance, Shipping, Marine and Transport group. He has extensive experience with negotiation, conflict resolution and advice within his areas of expertise as well as with general business law, often in the context of international transactions and projects. Before joining Ræder, Kristian worked as an in-house lawyer and general counsel in leading industrial companies, as well as in private practices in Oslo.
