Jon Andersen is a partner at Ræder Bing and leads the firm’s shipping and marine insurance disputes practice. He is widely recognised for his expertise in complex maritime litigation and arbitration and is admitted to appear before the Supreme Court of Norway.

He advises Norwegian and international insurers, shipowners and commercial parties on high-value and technically complex disputes, including collisions, groundings, salvage operations, general average, liability claims and marine insurance matters.

Jon has extensive experience acting in major maritime disputes and is regularly involved in cases concerning complex liability and coverage issues. In addition to his litigation practice, he is frequently appointed as arbitrator and is a trusted adviser to leading insurance companies.
