The firm: LPA-CGR avocats, established in 2016 from the merger of Lefèvre Pelletier & associés (founded in 1983) and CGR Legal (founded in 2004) is a leading French law firm operating internationally.
LPA-CGR avocats can rely on over 230 lawyers and professionals and 14 offices located in key business centers (Algiers, Brussels, Casablanca, Douala, Dubai, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hong Kong, Munich, Paris, Shanghai, Singapore, Tokyo, Yaounde) to advise our clients locally and abroad on strategic projects.
The office of Casablanca was opened in 2009 to assist local and international companies and institutions with the legal aspects of their activities. Lina Fassi Fihri and Romain Berthon are joined managing partner of the team which is now composed of nine lawyers and two paralegals. Our multidisciplinary and multicultural Casablanca team can assist clients in Arabic, French and English.
They have a recognized legal expertise and a perfect understanding of Moroccan business law and culture. Our lawyers are specialized and well-known for their expertise especially in real estate, corporate/M&A and litigation and are perfectly conversant with the Moroccan business world.
Clients can also rely on our firm’s expertise in IP/IT (data protection), labour law and arbitration.
Areas of practice: Our team in Casablanca is mainly counseling Moroccan and foreign companies, institutions and multilateral development banks. Our lawyers work in close cooperation with our teams in Paris and also with our offices in West Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
Romain Berthon is expert in real estate and corporate law.
In Morocco, our firm is leader in the real estate sector and is composed of a team which has been participating to most of the major real estate operations of the Kingdom, either for owners or for users and managers. We advise you at all steps of the real estate operation: real estate structuring for complex operations, due diligence of real estate assets and feasibility studies, registration of real estate assets, purchasing / selling of real estate assets, design, building operations. Among our clients, our team advises international and Moroccan clients in the healthcare, hospitality, real estate development and manufacturing sectors.
Lina Fassi Fihri is expert in corporate law, labor law and IP/IT. She is certified data protection officer (GDPR) since 2018. The team advises its customers in connection with acquisitions, investment operations and restructuring of existing group of companies (where the firm handles all of the stages: audit, legal structuring, contractual negotiation and implementation). The technical aspects of these cases may also raise unfair competition issues. Our team assists clients on all aspects of labor relations, both in the framework of complex strategic operations, expatriation pack and in the day-to-day management of companies. The firm has also developed expertise in the field of intellectual property litigation (patents, infringement, copyright, domain names, IT and telecoms, GDPR compliance).
The business litigation team assists clients of companies at all stages of litigation cases, from risk analysis to risk prevention, from the implementation of alternative dispute resolution methods to legal representation and the enforcement of decisions obtained.
