Position

Thilo Hoffmann is a partner and a member of the Corporate, M&A and Capital Markets team at Taylor Wessing in Prague. He advises international investors and multinational companies in the Czech Republic and CEE in all corporate and commercial matters and specialises in mergers and acquisitions. He also has experience in corporate restructuring and labour law and a special industry knowledge of the Automotive Sector.

Career

Prior to joining Taylor Wessing in 2016, he was a partner at Weinhold Legal/EY for almost 15 years, leading the German Desk and advising international clients in corporate, M&A and commercial matters in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Before that, Thilo worked for the European Parliament as a legal advisor and subsequently for the European Commission as a project manager in Brussels and for delegations in Central and Eastern Europe, where he was responsible for projects in the field of legal approximation, judicial reform, financial sector restructuring and privatisation assistance. Along with Worldbank experts, he was in charge of the set-up of a work-out scheme for bad debts and the privatisation of two major banks in Slovakia.
