Career
Linda Methlie is a Partner and Attorney-at-Law. Her extensive expertise in managing, developing and implementing large scale IT projects has made her a ‘go to’ resource within Zacco as an expert in Techlaw, technology and digitalisation. Her knowledge of data protection, privacy, licensing, outsourcing, cloud computing and software development have formed an integral part of her work with clients. She advises on a range of strategic options, including helping clients to understand the legal and practical implications of current and emerging legislation.
Prior to joining Zacco in 2018, she worked in-house within the legal function of a global IT service provider where she advised on transactions, contracts, corporate governance and risk throughout their international portfolio of companies. Working with domestic multinationals and foreign companies with extensive Norwegian operations has provided her with practical insight into cross border and cross cultural stakeholder management, insight she shares with colleagues and uses as part of her strategic advice to clients. She has also been a Data Protection Officer, responsible for establishing global privacy structures and policies, including implementation, training and deviation handling, among other areas of focus.
A skilled negotiator, her regulatory knowledge and expertise see her assisting clients with evaluating and drafting licensing agreements and other commercial contracts.
Linda has a Cand. Jur. Law from the University of Oslo.
