Adelina Mitkova joined Deloitte Legal in December 2014 as a Senior Associate and was promoted to Manager in 2018. Since then, she is responsible for the banking and finance practice of Deloitte Legal Bulgaria. Previously, she was an associate at the International Banking & Finance department of CMS Cameron McKenna (Bulgaria).

Adelina is a talented Bulgarian qualified lawyer and has been a member of the Sofia Bar Association since 2009., developing a successful career in the banking and finance sector. Her focus and expertise, as well as her in-depth understanding of the market position her as a valuable asset to Deloitte and a preferred legal counsel for our clients.

Adelina has over 12 years of post-qualification experience in transactional and regulatory banking and finance, corporate and commercial work, both on a local and an international level. She has advised various Bulgarian and international corporate clients, banks and financing institutions on regulatory, financing, and debt restructuring matters.  Adelina advised clients on matters related to syndicated, corporate, real estate and project finance, payment services, various regulatory issues such as resolution planning, capital requirements, large and internal exposures, etc. In recent years, she has gained broad experience   in data privacy, digital services, consumer protection, AML, NPLs, licensing, etc..
