Bojan Brežan heads the dispute resolution and real estate departments; Vid Kobe is particularly skilled in banking and finance and corporate/M&A work; Eva Škufca leads the EU & Competition and IP departments while Marko Frantar  is recommended for his work on regulatory matters; real estate and corporate law. The team is praised for its ‘international experience and know-how’ and for being ‘really business orientated’.

Other key lawyers:

‘We work mostly with Matej Crnilec. He understands our business and delivers superb products. Lately we have been working on banking regulatory with him and his knowledge of the field really stands out from other lawyers. He also seems to be on good terms with the regulators as he tends to get valuable responses from them on specific issues (eg on licensing, consumer credit, and AML, and other regulatory stuff). All in all, we would be happy to recommend Matej’.

‘The Schönherr Slovenia team is composed of highly qualified professionals, who are distinguished experts, each in his/her own field of expertise. Vid Kobe is a reputable name in the market because of his profound knowledge and excellent experience’.

‘Bojan Brežan is an incredible lawyer – he is extremely knowledgeable in his fields (transactions and dispute resolution), he is always thinking several steps ahead and has a very strategic mindset. On top of that he is very sociable and friendly and we have the utmost trust in him. We also work a lot with Marko Frantar (mostly on regulatory matters). Marko is also an excellent lawyer, with perfect command of his field, excellent at understanding our needs and finding quick and workable solutions. Also to mention is Jan Primožič. He is in Bojan’s team. A very smart and capable young attorney, surely on the partner track with Schoenherr‘.

‘Schoenherr is the best firm in the market. Their partners and attorneys are all very well educated and knowledgeable lawyers, responsive, organised, diligent, with a very good understanding of our underlying interests. They are transparent with fees and always very fair. I can only highly recommend. Bojan Brežan -we are really very happy with him and we rely on him on all matters’.

‘Strong understanding of the client’s needs; problem oriented; quick response times; excellent work products; high quality of problem analysis and proposed solutions. Marko Frantar’.

‘Ideal for handling complex cases, with a number of highly skilled professionals that cooperate on the case. Matej Črnilec stood out as highly skilled and versatile, with a high level of communication skills. From the correspondence it was clearly visible that he was very efficient in leading the team of co-workers that was involved in our cases’.

‘The team at Schönherr is very good. One stop shop basically. They are responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend. People are friendly, technology-wise they seem up to date, billing is fine. Compared to competitors they are a larger office and we work on complex issues with them. As mentioned, they usually respond faster then others. We work with the banking team (Matej Črnilec; Vid Kobe and Peter Gorše ). All are very nice guys. Most of our matters are handled by Matej Črnilec, and he is the best. Quick, smart and thorough! Also very skilful in litigation. We also do some with Urša Ušenični. She really knows her way around employment stuff. She is clear and concise, and always friendly’.

‘What makes the Schoenherr team unique is their responsiveness and to the point, practical approach. They obviously provide flawless legal advice, but the added value and what sets them apart is their impeccable understanding of the practical side of the business – we can always count on Schoenherr to offer us legal solutions that also make practical sense, which is not something you get often from law firms. We mostly work with Urša Ušenični-on employment matters. She provides straightforward no-nonsense advice, is very responsive and also very kind. ‘.
