Partner Linda Funck has a broad corporate, banking and financing practice. She has advised on takeovers, restructuring, mergers, company and business acquisitions, joint ventures, IPOs, as well as on financing aspects of these transactions including secured lending and structured finance.
Linda is also active in the field of information communication technology (ICT) and data protection. She advises companies, banks, private equity houses and other financial institutions on such transactions.


She became a member of the Luxembourg Bar in 2000 and joined Elvinger Hoss Prussen the same year. She became partner in 2008.


Linda is fluent in English, French, German and Luxemburgish.


She is chair of the Legal Committee of the ILA (Institut Luxembourgeois des Administrateurs) since 2016, member of the AIPPI (Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle) and member of the APDL (Association pour la Protection des Données au Luxembourg).


Linda studied law at the University of Aix-Marseille III and at the Faculté de Droit, Economie et Administration (Metz). She obtained her final degree “maître en droit” in 1999.

Considerably strengthened on the outsourcing and data protection front by the arrival in February 2018 of Gary Cywie from Allen & Overy Luxembourg,   Elvinger Hoss Prussen has a growing reputation in the market, and is increasingly picking up instructions on behalf of its impressive roster of institutional clients, particularly within the financial services industry. Linda Funck also continues to handle a significant amount of IT/data protection-related work, including her recent advice to Advanzia Bank on GDPR compliance matters. Senior associate Emmanuèle De Dampierre has a focus on IP matters.
