Career

Dr. Pascal Rüedi studied law at the University of Berne. He was admitted to the Swiss Bar since 2008, awarded Dr. iur with a dissertation on the subject stock exchange law in 2010 and received a further Master degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2013. Between 2008 and 2010, Dr. Pascal Rüedi worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Economic Law of the University of Berne. Following this he worked for an investment bank in Zurich as well as for two years as an associate in the banking team of a first tier law firm in Zurich. He managed numerous projects of major national and international clients in banking regulation, stock exchange and corporate law matters. Since 2013, Dr. Pascal Rüedi is working for Bratschi AG and is partner since 2016. Among other things he was decisively involved in mentoring public take-overs of clients, on various national and international M&A transactions and is responsible for the preparation and implementation of a groundbreaking Corporate Governance Initiative of an international industry association. Dr. Pascal Rüedi consults clients in complex legal issues and corporate takeovers, in company law as well as commercial contract matters and represents clients at state courts.
