Position

Senior Associate

Maria is a senior associate with the Firm and a member of the Corporate and M&A and Banking, Finance & Capital Markets teams.

She is experienced in corporate and capital markets law, with a focus on ongoing obligations for listed and private companies. Maria advises on corporate transformations and commercial agreements across a range of sectors, in particular mergers and acquisitions in the telecommunications and technology sectors. Her practice also includes advising clients on regulatory compliance and corporate governance and she has extensive experience in the structuring and execution of complex cross-border and domestic transactions.

Career

Maria is admitted to the Athens Bar (2011) and the Supreme Court of Greece (2022).

Maria holds a Degree in Law from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Master’s Degree in Private Law and European Integration from Panteion University of Athens. She holds an International Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance from the International Compliance Association in association with the University of Manchester.
