Claus Berg specialises in construction and procurement law.

With his more than 30 years’ experience Claus Berg has gained the position as one of the most popular lawyers in the building and construction sector. As an expert on construction law and procurement law he advises employers, technical advisers and contractors on all legal issues at the procurement as well as the construction stage, including issues concerning liability for defects and delays, insurance, and additional claims. Claus regularly argues cases concerning construction and public procurement as well as within other commercial-law and public-law areas.

Claus has vast experience planning tender procedures and drafting and negotiating commercial and public contracts. Also, he has extensive experience in conducting legal and arbitration proceedings before the Danish High Courts and Supreme Court as well as the Danish Building and Construction Arbitration Court, and he is an experienced arbitrator.

Finally, Claus is a recognised speaker and lecturer in his areas of expertise, conducting in-house company courses for the Danish Association of Lawyers and Economists (DJØF), the Association of Danish Law Firms, and the Danish Association of Construction Clients (DACC).
