GC Powerlist: Namibia 2026

For the first time, Legal 500 travelled to Windhoek to mark the launch of the inaugural GC Powerlist: Namibia 2026, held in partnership with CDH. The event brought together leading in-house lawyers from across the country.

Patrick Kauta, Managing Partner of CDH’s Namibia office, and Brent Willians, CEO of CDH, delivered the opening remarks.

Josephine Shigwedha, Executive: Regulatory and Corporate Legal Services at the Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia (CRAN), then provided an overview of the Namibian legal market and spoke about how the role of general counsel in the country continues to evolve.
